Previous Programs

Many dance groups keep a history of their dances, a practice that initially struck me as pretentious. I believe I now understand why it makes sense.

Dancers like to revisit "old friends," dances they enjoyed learning and dancing and want to request again. But how to remember them? Why not learn their names?

Our first meeting took place Jan 25, 2009 at Jill's house. We weren't sure what to expect, and what we got was fun! Our next dance, Feb 22, 2009, featured guest callers who were in town for the CDSS Executive Board meeting. We eventually settled in to Jerome and Jill doing most of the calling, with occasional guest callers. Several of our regular dancers have learned to lead dances as well.
